Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, also popularly known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw is well-known British stage and screen actress who became famous after she was a part of the 'Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) series aired on the BBC channel. Gugu gained fame for her performance as Tish Jones. The character was a sibling role played by Martha Jones. The actress began appearing on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began her career as a correspondent for The Tonight Show. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006, when she started running her own talk show for E! called The Chelsea Handler Show. It ran for two seasons. Handler was then seen in the United States as part of the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. Stand-up performance by Handler has been shown by VH1 as well as Comedy Central's Premium Blend as well as HBO.
